Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the ethical guidelines and confidentiality expectations for case consultations conducted with Dr. Zackery A. Tedder, PsyD. The purpose of these consultations is to provide professional insight, discussion, and guidance regarding complex clinical cases. These consultations are intended to support professional development and enhance clinical decision-making but do not constitute formal supervision or direct clinical oversight. Case discussions are for educational and consultative purposes only and do not replace formal supervision, clinical direction, or legal consultation. Participants are responsible for ensuring that any case information shared complies with HIPAA, state laws, and ethical guidelines governing confidentiality and patient privacy. All case material must be de-identified to remove personally identifiable information, including names, dates of birth, locations, or other unique details that could lead to patient identification. All participants agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding case discussions and will not disclose details outside of the consultation setting. Dr. Tedder will not retain case details beyond the duration of the consultation. Consultations do not replace the clinician’s legal or ethical responsibility to make independent clinical decisions, and each participant remains fully responsible for their own professional conduct, licensing requirements, and treatment decisions. Cases involving high-risk behaviors, active suicidality, mandated reporting concerns, or legal involvement should be addressed within appropriate clinical, legal, or supervisory channels. Consultation with Dr. Tedder does not substitute for legal advice or emergency intervention. Dr. Tedder provides professional insight based on expertise but does not assume liability for clinical decisions made by participants. Participation in case consultation does not establish a supervisory or therapeutic relationship with Dr. Tedder. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that their involvement in consultation aligns with their licensing board’s requirements and professional scope of practice. By participating in case consultations with Dr. Tedder, I acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above. I understand that these discussions are for professional education and development and do not constitute direct supervision, clinical oversight, or liability. I further agree to maintain the confidentiality of all case info.
